Property prices for rent in Tasmania region

The price per m² in Tasmania has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was $1.37. The following month (November) the price had a considerable rise reaching $1.6 per m². The following two months (December, January) went through a considerable fall of 53 % in the rent price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant fall of 69 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of $1.13 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of $0.79 per m² for the last two months (February, March).

When referring to the price in Tasmania(region), there have hardly been any changes in the last 6 months. In the first month sample October the average price is $485. In November the price remains at $495. In the following two months the average price practically remained the same compared to the previous two going from $490 to $484. During the last two months the price has gone up 109 % compared to the previous average values going from $487 a $529 in February y March.

They are 31 % cheaper than the average price in Tasmania followed by those with 2 with an average price of $505. The most expensive properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 18 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at $533.

Based on the average price per m² those properties with 3 bedrooms are the most affordable ones with a price of $0.66 / m² being $0.82 / m² the average for Tasmania. The properties with the highest average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 51 % more expensive than the average followed by those with 2 bedrooms with a price of $1.03 / m².
