The agricultural town of Kingaroy is home to around eight thousand people and is known as the peanut capital of Australia. Wine lovers will also be able to take a tour of several of the vineyards that surround Kingaroy.
The bright lights of Brisbane can be reached in around two and a half hours from Kingaroy and this is a popular day trip among the town’s residents. Brisbane offers countless entertainment options, from numerous shopping opportunities to excellent restaurants, interesting attractions to explore and a vibrant nightlife scene that people who want to let their hair down a little are sure to love.
